Our Team – Christine

Christine has been working at Mary's since the beginning and has been loving every minute of it. She says that it feels like Christmas when the new order comes in.

Christine's mum taught her to knit at the age of five and she would sit on her front door step where all the kids would bring their dolls and she would knit clothes for them.

Christine has always been involved in textiles and yarns whether it be knitting, spinning or weaving. While she is a very avid knitter, she also teaches weaving classes when she's not at the shop. One of her favourite things to knit is socks. 

They're small and compact and she loves that she can carry them with her where ever she goes.
